water-jack fresh combi is a small, compact and portable system for producing drinking water from polluted fresh water. Even very murky water does not cause any problems for our systems.

It is the fusion of the water-jack fresh little (2 parallel filter elements) and the water-jack fresh tiny (ceramic + active carbon physically separated, connected in series).

Use e.g. even after emergencies, if a reliable, bacterially impeccable supply is not possible by the local water supplier.

We have developed this system for users, with a medium daily water requirement, a tank size from 200L and a long travel time or long-term use.

In this compact filter system a total of 4 filter elements are installed:

• 2 ceramic filters, pore size either 0.2μ or 1.0μ, available with plastic and metal components, parallel arrangement for high throughput.
• 2 activated charcoal filters, coal as activated carbon block, parallel arrangement for maximum contact time and good pollutant reduction, despite high flow.

As a method microfiltration and optional adsorption is used (the supplied activated carbon can, but does not have to be used, depending on the raw water quality).
This method ensures the production of neutral-tasting drinking water that is free from dangerous, pathogenic bacteria or protozoa. Of course, sediments and turbidities are also removed from the water. So no dubious water gets into your tank, which otherwise would have to be cleaned consuming.

Technical Specifications:

• Water filter system for the preparation of surface water (fresh water) or cleaning of water from the supplier (campsite, gas station etc.).
• Suitable even for very turbid water.
• Bacteria and sediment filter, capacity up to 200,000 liters, pore size 0.2 or 1.0 micron, also available with high quality stainless steel components, can be cleaned in a few minutes, when the flow is no longer guaranteed.

• Optional integrated, self-priming water pressure pump, dry running safe, with 2.8 bar (power consumption at 12V: 4.5A) or 4.8 bar (power consumption at 12V: 12A).
• Pump motor is protected by automatic thermal overload protection.
• Connection with standard plug, e.g. to cigarette lighter, generator, fuel cell, with integrated 16A-fuse.
• Very strong power line, 3 meter helix cable.
• Operated with 12 Volt DC, 24 Volt version on request.
• Longer operation and lower power consumption than with a comparable submersible pump.
• Integrated pressure intake to work around the pump can be selected, if pressure is already available on a line from the supplier: No power source required.
• Incl. 5 meter suction hose with cleanable coarse pre-filter to protect the pump. With shut-off quick release coupling.
• Output hose 2 meters, e.g. into a tank. Can be extended almost arbitrarily! With shut-off quick release coupling.
• Flow rate with 2.8 bar pump: approx. 300 liters per hour (at 20 ° C water temperature).
• Flow rate with 4.8 bar pump: approx. 500 liters per hour (at 20 ° C water temperature).
• All components in a robust, extra strong UN approved aluminum container with stacking corners and 3 heavy duty spring handle.
• System can also be transported outside of the vehicle (e.g. ond the roof rack).
• Lockable with plug-in lock.
• Cleaningpad and abrasive paper for bacterial filter included.

Information on the selection of filter elements:

Two elements work in parallel, which means that always two filter elements of the same type must be used. Some of the elements are available with plastic components and optionally with metal components. If the filter elements remain screwed in during transport and the system is subjected to very severe shocks, the elements could break with plastic thread. If the system is used in very harsh conditions, the choice of heavy ceramic filter elements with metal components is recommended (not possible with the activated carbon filter, these elements are very light and do not tend to break). Possible combinations:

• 2x ceramic, pore size 0.2μ, total capacity approx. 100.000L, thread and caps made of plastic + 2x activated carbon, total capacity approx. 32.000L.
• 2x ceramic HighFlow, pore size 1.0μ (no microbiological safety), total capacity about 200.000L, thread, linkage and caps made of metal + 2x activated carbon, total capacity about 32.000L.
• 2x ceramic stainless steel, pore size 0.2μ, total capacity about 100.000L, thread, linkage and caps made of metal + 2x activated carbon, total capacity about 32.000L.

All available elements can be used in the system. So it is possible for the "normal" continuous use, when the water comes mostly from the supplier and has a neutral taste (smell) to work with the pure permanent ceramic filters and use the optional activated carbon filter only if, for. Surface water is removed or the water smells like chlorine or musty. The elements can be dried after use to increase their service life. The items can be ordered in our shop: Replacement filter.
